I've been a Customer Support Representative for more than 5 years. I've worked for AT&T one of the largest brands in the telco industry in the US. I was assigned in the collections department and accounts receivables and the main role of the job is answering phone calls, processing credit card payments, processing refunds and applying adjustments to customers accounts. We also do background check on customer accounts and assess them if they qualify for a payment arrangement or future-dated payment for some who are unable to settle the full amount of their monthly mobile plans. We use a special CRM to manage customers accounts and making sure that the security of these informations are not compromised due to fraudulent activities. We also take orders if customers wants to purchase mobile phones or upgrade their current mobile plans.
I also have a broad experience as a Technical Support Specialist also for AT&T for their cable, internet and mobile phones. Basic troubleshooting, setting up their modems or cable boxes, processing and tracking orders and dispatching field technicians if necessary.
