WORK EXPERIENCE
TSL Logistics Ghana, 40 Boundary Rd, East Legon.
Position: I.T Coordinator
Year: Aug 2016 – To Date
Key Duties and Achievements:
General IT management of TSL Logistics (Ghana Branch)
I oversee the installation of all new and updates for all IT equipment including desktops,
laptops, printers etc.
I oversee support for all units/department at TSL/BOST petrol storage terminals with
respect to helpdesk, technical support, Microsoft Navison (ERP), SharePoint and SAP
Success Factor ERP. I am also responsible for registering all BDC’s on Navison.
I oversee the configuration and maintenance of network devices and document the same.
I am responsible for identifying opportunities and recommend solution that will enhance
and improve current business processes as well as business continuity and disaster recovery.
I support and ensure continuous operating viability of the LAN/WLAN and WAN for full
hours of operation and resolve any abnormalities to ensure optimum performance.
I ensure software, hardware and network installs, re-installs, patches and upgrades, changes
and relocation are successfully made when necessary and as required.
I prepare and review IT reports and other documents for weekly and monthly reporting. I
also manage documents permissions and accessibility on SharePoint and Navison, ensure
records are appropriately filed and uploaded (stored) on the SharePoint site.
I trained all staff to effectively used SharePoint and SAP Success Factor system and other
office automation systems to increase productivity. This training reduced help desk call by
25%.
I liaise with other customers to conduct effective procurement of IT systems to save cost,
using the IT SOP
Monitoring bandwidth usage and VPN connections and manages Cyberoam routers for
continues operations.
I supported the re-installation and upgrade or TSL CCTV system at the head office.
I am responsible for TAMs (time management system www.tams.com.ng/portal), oversee
the installation and maintenance of it corresponding biometric devices.
I manage and support all helpdesk issues using Spiceworks Helpdesk System. I was able to
effectively manage the help desk to track and segregate which functional areas need more
support and training.
I was able to negotiate with COMSYS (Internet Service Provider) to reduce the agreed price
per the SLA by 30% and increase dedicated bandwidth by 80% across all TSL/BOST Oil
storage terminals across the country.
I support Vidyo Conferencing system across all TSL/BOST oil terminals in Ghana and TSL
oil terminals in Nigeria anytime there is meeting that needs to be conducted across these
locations. Effective management of this Vidyo system reduce cost of travelling to and fro
Ghana and Nigeria
I prepare biannual IT newsletter to educate staff on IT Security and effective use of their
working tools.
I schedule and perform quarterly systems maintenance on all It infrastructures across all the
six oil terminals (Buipe, Bolgatanga, Tema, Akosombo, Kumasi and Tema Oil Refinery) and
the Head Office
I review IT SOP annually for better performance and management of the department and
