DESIGN PROJECTS COMPLETED/ RESEARCH/ES UNDERTAKEN DESIGN OF A CONTROL SYSTEM FOR SYRINGE NEEDLE SEPARATOR WITH BARREL AND PLUNGER SHREDDER DEVICE The proponents intend to design a control system that is utilized to detect and separate the needle of different sizes of syringes and shred the detached barrel and plunger after the separation process. The system was developed and controlled by embedded software that authenticates and gives access to users in initializing the cutting and shredding process of the device. Furthermore, the detached barrel and plunger was dispensed and dropped into the shredder device. The shredding system is the one responsible to cut it into smaller pieces and once it is done, the separated needle and shredded barrel and plunger are stored in designated containers KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTITUDE Being a student of TIP with its orientation towards outcome-based, I have acquired and can demonstrate the following student acquired outcomes (knowledge, skills, and attitudes) necessary to the practice of the engineering profession: Analyze complex problem and identify and define the engineering requirements appropriate for solutions. Use modern techniques, skills, and tools of the engineering practice in complex computing activities.
