Jahor Omping

Hi, I'm Jahor. A graduate of Bachelors of Science in Physics at Mindanao State University Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT). I'm currently working at United Cargo Management (UCM) as Logistic specialist. I am responsible for:

1. Assisting the sales team in developing and maintaining relationships with clients in the international ocean logistic industry.
2. Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely and accurate information on services, rates, and shipment tracking.
3. Prepare and submit quotes, proposals, and contracts to clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
4. Coordinate with internal departments, updating ocean rate sheets.

Additionally, as a fellow researcher, I have 2+ years of research experience in nanoscience and nanotechnology, authoring (1) and co-authoring (4) Scopus-indexed journals as well as presenting studies both in local and international conferences. I have collaborated with various institutions both in local and international scene.

These experiences have shaped me into a detail-oriented and a problem solver who can effectively express and communicate well with other people. With all of these experiences, I am still aiming to broaden my horizons and explore what my "virtual" self could be.
