STRUTTURA WORK SHOP: Questo work shop è strutturato in tre livelli (Base, Intermedio e Avanzato). Ogni livello prevede 2 lezioni da un’ora e mezza (una di sabato e una di domenica) per un totale di 3 ore. Orari delle lezioni Base: Sabato 14-15.30, Domenica 14-15.30 Intermedio: Sabato-, Domenica- Avanzato: Sabato 17.30-19, Domenica 17.30-19 BASE: Sei in questo livello se hai frequentato regolarmente un corso Primi Passi. In questo livello imparerai la connessione e la tecnica fondamentale di questo ballo per affrontare tutte le sfumature dello swing out. INTERMEDIO: Sei in questo livello se stai frequentando il secondo anno di studio, balli regolarmente ed hai partecipato a qualche stage. Hai una buona conoscenza delle basi del Lindy Hop. Lo swing out non ti spaventa più! Hai una buona connessione che ti permette di ballare con ballerini di differenti città o paesi, e ti diverti a cercare di improvvisare sulla musica. AVANZATO: Sei in questo livello se hai frequentato lezioni di livello Intermedio, balli regolarmente, sei molto musicale nel ballo, conosci bene i temi e ti piace improvvisare su questi, utilizzando l’ampio repertorio di jazz steps che conosci. N.B.: in caso di insufficienti adesioni all’Avanzato, esso sarà sostituito da un secondo work shop Intermedio con argomentazioni diverse dal primo. Lo stesso discorso vale per gli altri livelli. WORKSHOP OUTLINE: This workshop comes in three levels; Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced. Each level has two hour-and-a-half lessons (one on Saturday and the other on Sunday) making a total of three hours. Lesson timetable Beginners: Saturday 14:00 – 15:30, Sunday 14:00 – 15:30 Intermediate: Saturday 15:45 – 17:15, Sunday 15:45 – 17:15 Advanced: Saturday 17:30 – 19:00, Sunday 17:30 – 19:00 BEGINNERS: You should try this level if you regularly attended a First Steps course. In this level you will learn the fundamental dance techniques to allow you to engage with the various subtleties of swing dance. INTERMEDIATE: You should join this level if you are taking part in the second year of the swing dance course, dance regularly and/or have participated in a few dance festivals. You must have a good knowledge of the basic Lindy Hop steps – the 'swing-out' move mustn't put you on edge anymore! – and you must build natural connections which allow you to dance with dancers from different cities or countries. You must also enjoy yourself trying to improvise to the music. ADVANCED: You should take this level if you have attended intermediate-level lessons, dance regularly, are very musical when you dance, are very familiar with the dance terms and you enjoy improvising with these, using the broad repertoire of jazz steps that you know. N.B. In the case of insufficient interest in the advanced-level workshop, it will be substituted by a second intermediate workshop which will work on different aspects to the first one. The same applies to the other levels. PACKETS AND PRICES: One level (3 hours): €80 (€65 for those who attend courses at La Balera Vintage and In The Swing). Two levels (6 hours): €140 (€115 for those who attend courses at La Balera Vintage and In The Swing). Three levels (9 hours): €200 (€160 for those who attend courses at La Balera Vintage and In The Swing). The prices shown above do not include the price of the membership card. We also offer to all our workshop participants a 50% entry discount to Saturday evening events at La Balera Vintage. For those members who would only like to participate in the evening events, the entrance is €15. For non-members, the entrance price plus the obligatory membership card comes to €20.
