Jade Cartwright

Hello! I am a native British English speaker who is fluent in Spanish and Italian due to having studied Romance Languages at university and having spent a substantial amount of time living in both Spain and Italy.

I have now been living in Japan for a few years with the intention of learning Japanese, so this is a skill that I can now happily add to my profile.

Alongside translation skills (I have completed numerous translation projects, including entire website and academic translation work, among others), I have recently worked for a year and a half as a professional editor and technical rewriter, mostly working on medical and scientific research papers and business-related documents ready to be published, so I am readily able to edit, proofread or rewrite any documents in the English language too.

Creative writing is also a passion of mine, and I have helped entrepreneurs come up with catchy phrases and triggers for their target audiences, as well as proof-checked their work and aided in copywriting.
