Jade C. Galolo

I am a versatile and passionate Computer Engineering student with solid hands-on experience in both software and hardware development. I am proficient in a range of programming languages including C++, JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, HTML, and CSS. I use these skills to build clean, responsive, and efficient applications. On the front-end, I work with frameworks like Next.js, ShadCN UI, and Tailwind CSS to create user-friendly and modern interfaces, while on the back-end, I develop secure and scalable systems using NestJS. My skills extend into embedded systems, where I’ve worked with Arduino Mega, ESP32, and ESP8266, integrating GSM modules, I2C LCDs, stepper motors, and various sensors. I specialize in sensor integration, motor control, and real-time data processing. For my 2024 thesis project, I developed an IoT-based automated vending system for over-the-counter medicine dispensing. I handled everything from hardware-software integration using Arduino IDE to optimizing connections and testing system accuracy to ensure reliability. During my internship as a software developer at Rak Son OPC, I contributed to the development of the XGame website, where I focused on improving user experience and integrating a Connect Wallet feature for secure transactions. These experiences have strengthened my ability to combine both hardware and software solutions to build impactful and functional systems.
