I like to think of myself as a type-A personality in type-B wrappings. I'm a focused, efficient self-starter who has been working in a fully remote capacity for the past three years in all sorts of capacities; copy editing, paralegal, project management, and transcription. All extremely detail oriented, requiring use of all sorts of tools and skills. I'm proficient in Slack, Zoom, Skype, the G Suite, Wordpress, Clio, Asana, Gimp, Tor, and Adobe Pro. I'm also a fast learner.
In a previous life I was a policy person, helping to guide the work and funding (upwards of $38 million) for Alameda County, located in the Bay Area. In that capacity I wore all sorts of hats; customer service, copy writing / editing / ghostwriting, facilitator, and project manager, with heavy emphasis on federal regulation. I like taking the complicated stuff and making it digestible for everyone else.
I bring four years of project management experience, the self-discipline of a remote worker, the skills of a copy editor, humor, intuition, and emotional intelligence. I'm also proficient in American Sign Language.
