I work alongside SEO, paid media and digital PR to produce content
marketing campaigns and other media for a diverse range of clients
across sectors. We won Best Content Marketing Campaign at the
2018 CIM Marketing Excellence Awards, and have been shortlisted
for two UK Content Awards.
I've worked with a mix of local and international brands like Jay Jays,
Checkers Group, Shoprite, Ackermans, BBC Good Food Show,
Krugerpark.com, Cusack Hotel Group Ireland, FortuneJack, Dickies,
Century 21, Rightmove, Douglas&Gordon, MediaVision, Instant
Offices, Boux Avenue etc.
My work includes everything from content strategy and brainstorming
to conceptual copywriting, SEO and onsite copy creation, blogging,
Digital PR content, social copy, research and reporting.
When I'm not working in digital marketing I'm into social causes,
veganism, pop culture, horror and design. I fight for animal and
human rights. I like Batman but I love the Joker. Super into dogs and
volunteer work. I also read loads of books and comics.
Career history: I started my writing career in newspaper journalism
but soon moved to lifestyle and started working in magazines. A
few years in, I took a break to explore photography, styling and
art direction and became an in-house photographer for various
publications. Once I had the opportunity to work in digital there was
no question though - I moved into SEO copywriting, worked at a
Cape Town ad agency and have been in marketing ever since.
