Business information systems professional with over four years of experience in data
analysis and front-end web development. With a level 8 degree in information systems
development, a wide array of IS/IT skills and strong business acumen, I'm not only strongly
motivated but also well experienced. I am well versed in several programming languages

Over the last four years I have worked with multiple clients to help create, customise and
maintain several different websites mainly using JavaScript, PHP and HTML5. Each project
involves a kick-off meeting organised either in person or via Zoom where I find out exactly
what the client is looking for, drumming up designs on paper and working closely with the
client to ensure all requirements have been met, setting up and handling all of the hosting
and domain preferences and finally coding the website while ensuring the client is happy
with how it looks and feels during the development.

I worked for three months for a company called Transperfect in downtown Vancouver as a
language data analyst, reviewing 1000 audio samples of speech daily to help correct their
AI’s transcription if necessary. The job required processing and cleaning language data for
the improvement of AI assistants following detailed guidelines, while meeting strict daily
KPI’s. I learned a huge amount in those three months about data transcription and how AI is
developed and improved over time and would love to work with such technology again.

For one of my college semesters in 2017, I was given the chance to do an internship in a
well-regarded digital media firm called iCan in Dublin. I was brought in as a junior
developer and learned how to work in an agile office environment, properly go about
making websites from scratch as well as how to use the Laravel framework and Wordpress
in detail. I excelled at learning brand new technologies much faster after this internship
thanks to some first-in-class mentoring.
