Having previously spent two years as an editorial staff writer at a prestigious website covering cinema, TV and pop culture, I'm now looking for interesting, challenging or creative freelance opportunities. My only rule when it comes to choosing a project is to write the kind of article I would click and read myself.
I'm pretty flexible with subject matter - my biggest passions are lifestyle/travel, movies/TV, tech, architecture/design and politics, but I'm very adept at research and can turn my hand to most topics.
I work reasonably fast, and I can write for SEO (one article written purely to target Google gets 20k+ views each month), but I don't want to write anything which has no value and is just keywords and a word quota. I hate badly written articles which don't teach you anything or at least make you laugh, and I'll always try to find a fresh angle or approach to the subject.
I'm experienced with writing copy for social media, often Instagram. I've also proofread the work of others in a content team on a regular basis and know what to look out for and how to edit without being invasive. Anything I turn in will be error-free and, I think, will be to your satisfaction - as long as communication is good from the get-go.
So if you'd like to collaborate, get in touch and let's create something special!
