My focus for the last few years has been imparting knowledge about team building and agile methods which
lead to value driven projects and improved performance. I am usually hired to put projects back in the green,
bring order and roll out new process.
Experience
1/2019 - 1/22/2020. Realware, LLC.
Sr. Manager Application Development - Scrum, Agile Coach:
I am in charge of the team’s successful delivery of valuable solutions for the customer. A large part of this
involves imparting knowledge about agile process and finding a perfect blend of management tools to keep the
entire team in the know. I gather requirements, perform QA if needed, and schedule and plan deployments for
several projects. We follow Scrum ceremonies to help close outstanding tickets at a desired pace within our
sprints. We use Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Sharepoint, O365, Visual Studio, and MS Teams among other tools.
We work on CMS and other secure solutions in the cloud, and provide 24 hour SysOps/DevOps support. We
recently moved all of the clients to AWS or Azure to close our data center. I just completed my largest
deliverable which was the launch of a new site and content management system for a large insurance company
in Hartford. I am searching for a new company to help.
6/2017-12/2018: Independent Consultant. I used online contract job sites to apply for projects requiring an
Agile project manager, an Agile Coach or a Senior manager of an offshore development team. I can set teams up
in a new agile tool, provide training and get projects back into good health.
4/2016-5/2017: United Airlines, Technology Division
Program Delivery Manager - Application Development, Financial Systems:
I managed five to twelve developers who were adept in delivering against immediate deadlines. Accounts
Payable was our largest stakeholder. I was hired for my former position to introduce agile project management
methodology in Financial Systems. We moved many of the legacy systems to Oracle for scalability.
7/2014-4/1/2016: United Airlines, Technology Division
Project Manager, Financial Systems: The largest part of my responsibility resided in overseeing the onboarding
of the offshore development team. This included the due diligence activity, resource selection and knowledge
transfers to the offshore team. We also worked on the New Data Center move, and I kept track of program
level responsibilities such as resource forecasting and budget compliance for the department.
12/2011- 7/2014: United Airlines, Technology Division
Manager, Product Architecture and Business Analysis - IT - Customer Value Creation:
We established a service layer for the enterprise called CSL. We used our combined years of airline experience
to drive out business requirements, and provide support for our developers. I worked on foundational
roadmaps, process implementation, PMO tools, and made sure that requirements would serve multiple
stakeholders over time. We were dedicated to scrum methodology in this team.

6/2009-11/2011: Continental Airlines, Technology Division.
Enterprise Project Manager. ADM – Portfolio Management/Planning Team:
As Enterprise project manager during the airline merger for the integration of seat maps from the subsidiary
partners to a unified fleet, I created a project plan against a number of consuming workgroups with their own
dynamic timelines. I often trained others in the Technology Estimate and the Authorization for Expenditure
tools. The cost estimate provides scope, existing and proposed design, business requirements, and estimates for
resource management. I composed justification for projects with budgets ranging from $200K to 10MM and
presented it to the VPs weekly.
3/2006 - 5/2009: Continental Airlines, Cargo Revenue Management.
Cargo Capacity Control Analyst:
I was responsible for the daily management of weight and balance issues for the successful shipment of valuable
cargo items across the system and acted as the gatekeeper for all related reporting items. This required a deep
mathematical understanding of every aircraft type and the operational, fuel and passenger issues which affect
the remaining weight on every route. I analyzed requests that came in from Sales and determined whether they
were feasible for capacity and cost effectiveness.
2/2005 - 3/2006: Continental Airlines, Technical Publications.
Data Systems Analyst:
This position required reviewing Boeing revision data for engine manuals in repositories such as EDOCS. This
position utilized my training in Unix and SQL server.
5/2001 - 2/05: Continental Airlines Payroll, Finance Division:
Payroll Systems Analyst: I was hired to help deploy a biometric time clock for time and attendance.
