I am a dedicated and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in aquaculture, marine science, and environmental management, combined with growing experience in data handling, documentation, and digital tools. I hold a BSc in Fisheries and Marine Science and am currently reading for an MSc in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing, which has strengthened my analytical thinking and technical skills.

From May 2021 to June 2024, I worked as an Aquaculture Officer at the National Aquaculture Development Authority of Sri Lanka, where I served as Officer-in-Charge of the Kala Wewa Centre. In this role, I managed administrative operations, coordinated staff, prepared reports, handled official documentation, and ensured compliance with institutional procedures. I also supervised aquaculture activities and applied sustainable cultivation techniques, contributing to improved productivity and long-term resource management. This experience helped me develop strong time management, multitasking, decision-making, and responsibility skills—qualities essential for remote work.

I also completed an internship at the Marine Environment Protection Authority, where I supported marine environmental monitoring, field inspections, and report preparation related to pollution control and coastal ecosystem protection. This role enhanced my attention to detail, ability to follow guidelines, and experience working with structured data and official records.

In addition to my field experience, I have completed professional certifications in HRM, computer applications, communicative English, and GIS applications. I am confident in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ArcGIS Pro, and I am comfortable working with data entry, documentation, reporting, research support, and administrative tasks. I am continuously improving my English communication skills to work effectively with global teams.

I am a motivated, reliable, and adaptable individual who values accuracy, clear communication, and meeting deadlines. I work well independently and as part of a team, and I take pride in delivering quality work with consistency.
