About Me

I'm Israel Otamere, a full-stack web developer and tutor passionate about building polished, user-friendly applications. I started with HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS, mastering responsive design and modern styling techniques like Flexbox and Grid. I advanced to JavaScript, diving into DOM manipulation, events, and logic, then moved on to React for dynamic web apps and React Native with NativeWind for mobile development.

On the backend, I build secure APIs using Node.js and PHP/Laravel, handling routing, validation, and authentication. I’ve deployed projects using Docker on Render, cPanel, and Vercel, and worked with PostgreSQL and MySQL databases. I also use Next.js for server-side rendering and RESTful API integration.

As a tutor at Code Academy Sarutech, I teach web fundamentals through hands-on projects calendars, carousels, login systems making sure students understand the “why” behind the code.
