Isah Favour Glory

My name is Favor Isah. I write stories and poems under the pseudonym 'Igf_achinghands.' I am from Kogi State but was born and raised in FCT, Nigeria.

I am 22 years old and have been volunteering since I was 18. I have been sharpening my skills and interacting with the entrepreneurship world. 

I am a Transcriber with an unrepentant love of writing and reading; I have tirelessly volunteered and worked on projects aimed at improving primary education for students. This is mainly due to my passion for children and education.

I am also currently the Student Chief Librarian of the Faculty of Science at The Polytechnic Ibadan, Oyo state, Nigeria, of which I am a student. My life as an undergraduate has been one of adventure, as I am lucky to find myself studying in a discipline that I am passionate about— Library and Information Science (which centers on Book production, authorship, organizing and disseminating information, and more)

Francine Rivers, Tim LaHaye, and C.S Lewis are my favorite authors. Self-Help books are not out of my loved collection either. I am a huge fan of Child Psychology. I delight in reading about Nature vs Nurture.

You will always find me talking about the things I love.

Leading projects and carrying out front responsibilities have helped build my communication skills. I am also a Talker who is ever willing to network.

I am proactive, optimistic, self-motivated and I am not shy to add that I enjoy playing a lot. Lol, yeah I really do. Above all, I am big on my Faith.

A bit of what I do:

I write inspiring short stories for all ages and all genres. My children's stories promote gender equality and respect for race diversity; I write diverse stories to educate and nurture young minds. I write content for blogs —relationship and marriage blogs, personal development blogs, parenting tips, and DIYs. I also have experience as a Graphics designer. I am a teen Trainer and have a strong voice for public speaking and oral presentations. Lastly, I have an above three years of experience in Qualitative transcribing, Information organization, and presentation.
