I am an Accountant for more than 6 years now. I am recognized for my attention to detail and eagerness to adapt easily to any changes that may occur wherever best benefit the company. I believe my ability to adapt and willingness to learn will help me easily catch up with new roles.
My experiences focus on bank reconciliation, statement reconciliation, credit reconciliation, variance analysis, credit analysis, accounts receivable processes, and accounts payable processes. I also had an experience in a local company here in the Philippines where I and my manager are working together to maintain the records of an advertising company. I have accounts receivable experience there from analyzing services of the company to preparing billings, having them signed by signatories, and then preparing proper attachments before I have them scheduled for delivery to respective clients. And then after they receive the invoices, our messenger will give back to me the receiving copy so I can update the AR monitoring file. Other than that, I also call our clients to follow up on payments so that I can schedule pick up of checks, then once our messenger picks up checks from them, they will give that to me so that I can update the AR monitoring file for the specific billings paid by our clients before I hand it over to my manager. On the accounts payable side, I was the one receiving invoices and then organizing them according to their due dates so that I know which invoices are the priorities for the week. After organizing, I will prepare vouchers and checks for them and then have them signed by the signatories. Suppliers also call me to follow up if they have checks for that week since payments are mostly released once a week. And I’m also the one releasing those checks. After that, I will have to file our copy of the vouchers so that we have proof of payment. Currently, I am directly working for an E-commerce US client. And my responsibility focuses on invoice processing, variance analysis, credit analysis, statement reconciliation, and resolving issues encountered by coordinating with respective team members from the client. I have been working directly with foreign clients since July 2020 which is why my communication skills were enhanced as well. I am already comfortable communicating with foreign clients. Regarding tools, I am very familiar with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft Dynamics GP, VMware, Salesforce, and a glimpse of Peachtree, and SAP. Despite not having experience using commonly used systems like Quickbooks and Xero, I have been in different industries that use different platforms and systems, proving how I can easily adjust to any environment.
I am also confident with my organizational skills because I like things organized and categorized accordingly so that I can do my job efficiently. I am good at organizing files and monitoring them because I value timeliness. I want to expand my career. That is why I am interested and looking forward to new roles to enhance my skills and eventually satisfy my clients with my output.
