I'm an accomplished sustainability and governance leader with over 12 years of experience driving ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategy, ethical leadership, and community-centered development across both corporate and nonprofit sectors. With a proven track record in sustainability, human rights advocacy, and strategic leadership, Irene brings a thoughtful and value-driven approach to board service.

My leadership experience includes guiding cross-functional teams in ESG, sustainability, safeguarding, and compliance. Irene is passionate about gender equity, sustainable development, and embedding human rights principles in business leadership and governance practices.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from Kenyatta University and a Diploma in Community Development from the Kenya Institute of Development Studies, a Diploma in Human Resource Management from Cambridge International College and I'm currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Gender and Development Studies at the University of Nairobi.
