 My name is Irene and I'm a Certified Medical Coder, AAPC certified.

After finishing my Medical Coding course at HCBI, I get to develop the following skills:

• Review clinical statements and assign standard codes using CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS Level II classification system.
• Checks the Patient Medical records to verify the work that was done.
• Checks Operative Reports.
• Checks Office note.
• Knowledge of insurance guidelines especially Medicare and state Medicaid
• Identify and bill secondary or tertiary insurances
• Review all accounts for insurance or patient follow-up
• Collect and Distribute coding related information and billing issues.

I am a full believer in continued education, and recently I took a Freelancing Course to improve my competency in providing online services like General Virtual Assistance, Social Media Management and Marketing, Simple Web Design, Search Engine Optimization, Email Marketing and Lead Generation.

Having worked as an Administrative at the City Government of Manila for 14 years, I believe that my skills and experiences are all relevant to any client I will come across with here on Hubstaff. I was able to develop the right skills to get things done with or without supervision.
