Indunil Amarasinghe

I'm Indunil, a .NET and web developer with a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering and 8+ years’ experience designing and building websites and applications, and sound knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and SOLID principles. In my most recent role, I worked with Angular and Node.js, following REST API best practices to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code that ensures efficient and reliable front-end and back-end communication.

I have experience using C#, ASP.NET (including ASP.NET MVC and ADO.NET), CSS, HTML, TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, Express.js, LINQ, SQL (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle 11g), Entity Framework, AJAX, JSON, Telerik UI WinForms, DevExpress, and stored procedures. I am detail-oriented and committed to high accuracy in development and data entry tasks, demonstrating strong attention to detail.

Over the past eight years, I have completed the following projects:

• Designed and implemented a web-based technical repository and built a help desk system. Developed a stock control system for distributors, a website to track student educational records, and a timesheet application. Additionally, I designed a single page for a U.S. client and a shopping cart using the nopCommerce CMS platform and participated in a landing page design.
• Dealt with product listings from a Facebook page, added those items to a shopping cart and saved and liked products for a client in the UK.
• Designed, implemented, and tested a website for a pharmaceutical organization to enable interactive communication between patients and pharmacies, collaborating with a team. Developed an address book with session-based authentication and authorization, and customized an audio and video subtitles editor for a French client.
• Built two music players with the open-source NAudio toolkit, customized a stock control system using VB.NET and Crystal Reports, and developed a student info system with Telerik UI. Archived a software package for statistical analysis of binary data for a Canadian client, and designed and developed custom charts for a U.S. client.
