My responsibilities and key activities undertaken are as follows:
Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
Reconciliation of Monthly Collection & Deposit Report.
Management of accounts at campus level and troubleshooting where needed.
Reconciliation of Stock with physical inventory.
Daily bank position monitoring, management and reconciliation.
Preparation and presentation of periodical Financial Reports.
Developing proper SOPs for Accounts Department.
Lead and train the Accounts Team at campus level.
Ensure timely filing of Withholding Tax Statements and Income Tax Returns of the company with FBR.
Ensure complete coordination with Head Office and other departments for finalization of monthly Budgets and fund requirements.
Ensure timely preparation of monthly Budgets, Funds Utilization and Variance Analysis.
Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances.
Maintain good relations with Vendors and other stakeholders.
