Igor Wambyakaley

I am a Computer Engineering Technology graduate with a strong focus on software development and a passion for building efficient and scalable applications. Both my academic and project experiences have provided me with a solid foundation in object-oriented programming, data structures, and full-stack development, using technologies such as Java, C++, and .NET

Throughout my studies, I have worked on many projects that strengthened both my technical and analytical skills. I have developed enterprise level applications using Java(Jakarta EE) and ASP.NET Core, where I designed RESTful APIs, integrated relational databases, and implemented clean, maintainable architectures. I also gained experience through testing frameworks like JUnit and Selenium, ensuring reliability and performance in my applications. These experiences have helped me understand the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.

In addition to software development, I gained a strong background in systems and networking. During my co-op at Nokia, I worked with environments based on linux, configuring virtual machines, managing IP addressing, and troubleshooting system and network issues. This experience improved my ability to debug problems at both the application and system level.

I am comfortable working with databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, and I have experience using tools like Git, Postman, and cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and beyond technical skills, I value collaboration, continuous learning, and adaptability. Leading a team project taught me how to communicate effectively, manage tasks, and ensure quality outcomes under deadlines. I am open to expand my skill set and stay current with industry trends.
