I am Ifeoluwa Michael Adepoju, a highly professional and results-oriented individual with a strong foundation in financial services, customer relationship management, and sales. My career reflects over seven years of dedicated experience in the banking sector, complemented by early experience in successful retail management. My expertise is centered on client acquisition, portfolio growth, and upholding strict FCA regulations and compliance standards. Furthermore, I am currently enhancing my capabilities by pursuing an MSc in Business Computing at the University of Staffordshire. This advanced study is a strategic step to blend my established financial acumen with in-demand data analysis and technical competencies, preparing me for roles that innovate at the intersection of finance and technology.
My career journey shows a consistent track record of success, primarily within the financial sector, where my focus has been on driving profitability and managing client portfolios.
For over five years, as a Customer Relationship Manager at Stanbic IBTC Bank (subsidiary of Standard Bank Plc) (Between August 2020 to September 2025), my primary goal was to expand the bank’s business and ensure client satisfaction. I was highly effective in onboarding new clients across all bank products and significantly growing the Bank’s Risk Asset and Deposit Portfolio. This involved proactively booking loans for salaried customers and securing investments from non-salaried clients, directly impacting the institution's profitability. I excelled at managing and maintaining key client relationships and consistently resolved complex queries and complaints within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Previously, as a Marketing Executive at FCMB (First City Monument Bank) from September 2018 to August 2020, I was responsible for direct sales and market growth. I successfully marketed the bank’s SME products and was instrumental in mobilizing deposits to substantially grow the Bank’s Deposit Balance Sheet through effective marketing campaigns.
Earlier in my career, I gained valuable operational and sales management skills as a Retail Sales Manager for TEXACO (Metroil and Marketing Services Company) (Between February 2015 and September 2018). I managed the sale of petroleum products, ensured regulatory compliance, and successfully marketed to corporate clients for bulk purchases. A key achievement was developing a structured, improved performance reporting format using Excel, alongside handling the routine training and payroll management for customer service staff.
My education provides a diverse and robust skill set, blending technical analysis with specialized business knowledge.
I am currently pursuing my MSc in Business Computing at the University of Staffordshire (2025 – Present). This builds upon my earlier education, which includes a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from Landmark University (2011 – 2016) and a certification as a Project Management Professional at Skills Edge Consulting in 2017
My core competencies include:
