At DCI, we have been welcoming international English language
students to our school since 2004. We provide quality English
programmes and a friendly atmosphere with a mix of students
from all different cultures, and our experienced, qualified
teachers and staff genuinely care for your progress and welfare.
Course Start: Any Monday. Maximum Class Size: 15 students.
Average Class Size: 10/11 students. Minimum Age: 17 years old.
Morning Lessons : 60 minute hours. Afternoon Lessons: 55 min.

GENERAL ENGLISH CLASSES - Our courses are based
on the most modern methodologies, course books &
authentic materials. Classes incorporate grammar,
vocabulary & the four skills of speaking, listening,
reading & writing, to improve your fluency & accuracy.
AFTERNOON CLASSES: MON - THURS-: (GE25/GE30)
EXAM PREPARATION - General & specific preparation
for internationally recognised exams including IELTS,
Cambridge (FCE/CAE etc.), TIE, Trinity & TOEFL.
BUSINESS ENGLISH - Covering all aspects of business
language & effective business communication.
CONVERSATION CLASSES - Developing spoken fluency
through debate, projects & cultural discussions.
EVENING CLASSES: MON - THURS-: Intermediate to Advanced Level.

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
Our Student Services team is available to help
our students deal with all situations they may
encounter during their time in Ireland, both
inside and outside the school. This may range
from organising an airport transfer on arrival
to general advice on living in the city.
A 24-hour emergency telephone number is
provided to all students.
Medical Insurance can be arranged for non-EU
students. EU citizens should have an EHIC card.
We can give advice on opening a bank account
or getting a PPS number or Student Travel card.
ACADEMIC SUPPORT
Our Director of Studies, along with all our
teachers, will help you with any issues with your
studies, from questions about your class level
to the best English exam to register for.
ACCOMMODATION
DCI offers Host Family accommodation, with
carefully selected Irish families, as well as
organising hotel, hostel and Bed & Breakfast
options. We can also offer advice in searching
for an apartment or house share.
VISA STUDENTS
For students requiring a visa to study, we
provide full support and assistance dealing with
the Immigration Office and GNIB. This includes
providing all necessary documentation, medical
insurance and exam registration. As a member
of MEI, DCI provides full Learner Protection.
