Hussein Cheayto- Beirut,Jnah- Objectives To design and develop advanced applications for the android platform. Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability. Bug fixing and improving application performance. Education Will Graduate in May 2018 | Bachelor in Electrical Engineering at Notre Dame University Holder of a French Baccalaureate (June 2012) Experience Sep 2014 – Oct 2016 | Teacher IQ Pro Learn Center | Choueifat Private teacher for grade 8-9-10-11 students (Math, physics, chemistry and biology). Internship 2017 Ideal Services International | Beirut ● ● ● Learned about generators (types of generators, how do they work and what are they made of). Learned how to design and install panels. Learned the benefits of parallel switchgear and types of controllers. Skills ● Built 2 versions of a waiter for restaurant application (using Java and Unity 3D). In the Java version on Eclipse IDE (Jan 2018), the customer chooses a waiter, selects order from the menu, then, a list of orders and total bill will be displayed. Finally, the orders will be automatically submitted to the chef. Whereas, in the Unity 3D version (Feb 2018), the application is compatible to all devices and it is more user friendly than the Java version. In addition to the Java version, the waiters are animated in a 3D world. ● Designed and created a coffee machine prototype (May 2017). I was the leader of a group of 3 students. The circuit includes a 555 timer, infrared transmitter-receiver sensors, AND gate (7408 IC), ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● BJT (2N2222), IC comparator (LM339), 12 volts electric valve, 12 volts relay. The coffee machine works if and only if a cup is detected by the infrared sensor and a push button is pressed (to activate the timer). If the cup is removed, the machine stops immediately. In my free time, I have designed and created a smart traffic light (September 2017) using a raspberry pi 3 (connected wirelessly to my laptop) and a breadboard. The circuit contains 6 LEDs (2 red, 2 yellow and 2 green), 2 ultrasonic sensors (HC-SR04).HC-SR04 contains 4 pins, ground, ECHO (output), TRIG (input pulse from raspberry pi in order to trigger the sensor to send ultrasonic pulse) and Vcc. If the green LED is on and a person wants to cross the road, the proximity sensor detects him/her and the green light blinks for 2 seconds and then it turns red (using Python). I am able to start, modify and stop the system using my laptop. Took C++, Principles of Database Systems courses. Self-taught Unity 3D, Java EE, Java SE, JavaScript, Android Studio, Python, SQLite, REST, SOAP, JSON, Kotlin, PHP, Node Js, Microsoft SQL, XML, Visual Basic .Net, HTML 5 and CSS 3. Languages: English, French, Arabic and German (level 1). Time Management Skills. Team player. Hard worker. Excellent communication skills. Creative. 2
