I have completed my Ph.D. in botany last year from university of Karachi. During Ph.D. research was undertaken on endangered and threatened endemic medicinal plants. Advanced techniques of seed storage and micro propagation was also used to support both exsitu and invitro conservation.
I have presented multiple papers in International conferences and have published papers in national and international journals as well. I have attended various workshops on academic writing. These experiences along with being a published author have polished my academic writing skills remarkably.
I have also performed specification of some endemic medicinal plants from Sindh which include botanic description, pharmacognostic characteristic, chemical identification, loss on drying, ashes and extractive values. A project on the chemosystematics studies on some members of family malvaceae was also completed during my masters in plant taxonomy and extracted out some chemicals of medicinal and taxonomic value. I have also learned techniques of gel electrophoresis, DNA isolation and SDS- PAGE.
Apart from botanical experience, I am a certified webmaster and hold a diploma in computer science. I have also worked as a database manager all of which ensure that I am a tech savvy and know my way around technology.
I am a hardworking individual who enjoys her work and is always on time. I can assure you that I always give you my 100 percent to every project I undertake. Years of teaching experience has enabled me to be excellent at communication and portraying my ideas effectively.
