All the time, as System Developer (earlier), as DBA or BI Specialist (now), the main goal was maintained: ease the access, through the input, output or analysis, to the data, so necessary to keep the environments working on full capacity.

I worked since 2008 helping people to understand better their business, developing solutions that transform these data into structured information. I was a VB6/.Net Developer, then I became interested to work directly with databases, so I had the opportunity to start my career as a SQL Server DBA. The circumstances required a more analytic, business-related view, so I added a BI Analyst experience to my skillset.

I do like challenges, they push me and make me constantly learning.

Specialties: research, requirement gathering, development, implementation and support of data-based environments. Technical support, best practices advisor, development and training. Project leadership and management of data-driven teams.

Tools: SQL Server 2000 to 2022 (Database), Integration Services (ETL), Reporting Services (Business Reports), Analysis Services (Multidimensional Database), Microsoft Self-Service BI Tools – Power BI. Implementation of Azure-based resources (Azure SQL Database), basic Azure environment administration, and dabbing the basics of Databricks and Lake Warehouse applications. Later in my career, I had contact with AWS tools, such as S3 buckets and Redshift Warehouses, Snowflake and Matillion Data Productivity Cloud.
