I have worked with fashion for the last past 5 years in different paths such as Styling, Fashion design, Marketing, Buyer and as a Trend forecasting expert. Some remarkable places were Lojas Marisa (that is a Brazilian Primark), Tendere that is mainly focused in trend forecasting and business consulting, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Mexico as a Backstage assistant and in London as a Stylist assistant in many shooting backstages and catwalks. • Solid experience in trend forecasting;
• Fashion editorial and Styling (Model casting, thematic concept monitoring, selection of the collection pieces, scheduling of local for the shooting, selection of make up artist and hair dresser);
• Cool hunting and trend research through: social behavior, market and consumption analysis, field observation, internet, articles, books and magazines;
• How to use WSGN device and how to apply the trend analysis at a fashion collection, shooting and visual merchandising;
• Collection planning step by step based on a trend forecast, main consumer, target audience and brand concept;
• Communication with national and international suppliers through the entire process of the product development, prospection of new suppliers, detailed development sheets in english and portuguese, negotiation based on final results of the production and finally controlling the agenda of the sample delivery and production time according to the brand agenda;
• Organization and execution of fashion show's backstage and shootings, taking care of all the steps (scenarios, soundtrack, lighting, clothing try-out, model casting, make up and hair style);
• Business and sponsors prospection for fashion events and projects;
• Organization of fashion events, such as Trend forecasting Seminars, Fashion talks and Fashion Revolution day; - Social media marketing;
• Fashion writer for a Creative economy blog
• Send the developments to global suppliers;
• Choose the products for each supplier;
• Active source new suppliers; - Do the development sheets with all information (price, quantity and product details);
• Send the developments sheets and fabrics to supplier;
• Follow up the development, prices and fitting deliveries;
• Approve the products;
• Schedule fittings;
• Send emails with comments and photos after fitting;
• Send the pre-order with final comments, quantity and delivery dates;
• Negotiate prices;
• Follow up delivery dates;
• Monitor the raw material delivery to the supplier;
• Follow up sample and production delivery;
