Hassan’s storytelling has since reached audiences across the globe, with his work screening at over 50 festivals in more than 40 countries. His award-winning narrative shorts, music videos, and branded content have been featured by outlets ranging from independent critics to major international publications. Now based in Los Angeles, he has worked with top-tier studios and production companies including Warner Bros., Universal, Paramount, Focus Features, NBC, MJZ, and Biscuit Filmworks.
Known for vivid visual language and emotionally charged storytelling, Hassan explores themes of self-awareness, identity, and the psychological effects of life’s most intimate and jarring experiences. He is currently developing multiple feature films and international projects.
His latest project, THIS IS YOUR SONG, is an ambitious one-shot feature set in San Francisco—filmed entirely in a single 97-minute take, making it the longest continuous shot in U.S. cinema history. The film is currently in post-production.
When not directing, Hassan can be found writing screenplays on his typewriter, wandering the streets of Los Angeles or San Francisco with his vintage Hasselblad camera, or showcasing his photography in galleries worldwide.
