Hi! I’m Harshita Gupta, a fashion and textile designer with a passion for translating stories into tactile, meaningful surfaces. I specialize in creating hand-drawn and digital prints, surface textures, and embroidery design that bring richness, depth, and originality to fashion collections.

With a background in fashion design and an internship at Antar Agni, I’ve worked on everything from concept and print development to accessory styling and production coordination. At Antar Agni, I collaborated on embroidered details and surface finishes for garments, deepening my understanding of how texture and material bring life to design.

My work bridges craft and contemporary fashion. I love combining traditional embroidery techniques with modern silhouettes and digital aesthetics. Whether it’s embroidery placement maps, surface manipulations, or integrating threadwork into print layouts—I focus on designs that are both expressive and wearable. I’m skilled in developing AOP (All-Over Prints), placement prints, and embroidery-compatible layouts, ensuring smooth translation from design to production.

One of my specialties is material exploration. I enjoy working hands-on with fabric—experimenting with textures, layers, and folds. From origami-inspired structures to fabric manipulations, I create surfaces that go beyond the visual—designs you can feel. I’ve worked with denim, organic cotton, and rich artisanal textiles, adapting my techniques to suit each material’s behavior and personality.

My portfolio includes projects like “Cantadora,” where I built an embroidered print story around narrative symbolism, and a denim collection, where I played with varying denim weights, utility details, and tactile printing. These projects reflect my ability to balance creative vision with functional execution.

I’m proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD, and I always start with a solid foundation—moodboards, fabric studies, and conceptual direction that’s aligned with your brand.
