RE C E NT EXP ER IENC E Freelance/contract, Aug 2017- Present For the past 3 years, whilst working for White Marble Consulting, I've led the design of several websites and web apps- helping their clients in the investment and asset management sector solve problems and improve their overall user experience. Prior to that, I worked at agencies such as Investis Digital; designing websites and developing design systems for several large clients. In 2018, I was hired to create visual guidelines and digital assets for a political startup, which pushed my conceptual thinking across a range of media. UI/UX designer, Bark.com, Feb 2017 - Aug 2017 As the sole designer at Bark, a platform that helps match local businesses with customers, my role covered wireframing, prototyping, visual design and testing across web and app. Whilst the platform grew, I developed visual guidelines to define a consistent user experience and worked closely with developers to deliver designs that increased conversion for Bark. UI Designer, Forbidden Tech, Mar 2016 - Nov 2016 Working on a video editing app, I was responsible for designing engaging user journeys that met Wo business and user requirements. This included wireframing, UI and creating interactive prototypes. Interactive Designer, WCRS, July 2014 - Nov 2014 During this contract, I worked as part of a large team developing web pages for one of America’s largest tech firms. My main responsibilities included Photoshop and UI. With several trips to Silicon Valley involving strict deadlines, this role required efficiency and the initiative to improve existing processes. pr Web & Digital Designer, Photobox, June 2011 -April 2014 My primary role was to help improve the design and user experience across the website; this included designing campaigns, building landing pages and refining user journeys. Here I learnt techniques to improve the success of a design through analysing user behaviour, for example, my re-design of the books range page, which led to a reduced bounce rate by 30% and improved customer conversion by 10%.
