My Career Online
I began my online career in 2004 as a content writer at The Content Authority and later with oDesk. At the Content Authority, I had the opportunity to write on several subjects and post the content created to various directories. I wrote on subjects like finance, health, alternative medicine and others.
At the Content Authority, I connected with clients from New Zealand, who invited me to work independently for them. They gave me an opportunity to create content for websites like zerowarts.com, Oxyfend.com, and Maxalife.com, which I did for over three years. This opportunity gave me the experience I sought and was financially beneficial.
At oDesk, I worked with rainforestqa.com and several other clients before taking up a position as a Data Quality Analyst with dataminr.com, recognized by CNBC as the 13th most disruptive private company in the world. My tenure with this company began on February 28, 2014, and ended July 28, 2015. I presently am working with Reddoch Media where I’ve been for the past four months along with PD Consultants of UK since Aug 2016.
My Career Off-Line
I began my career off-line as a sales representative working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where I was selling electronics and household items. This job lasted for 27 months. Thereafter, I made a move to the United Arab Emirates and again started fresh in the field of sales for household items. I was dejected after meeting with limited success and therefore, decided to change the field I was engaged in Fast Moving Consumer Goods. It was this job that provided me the break I wanted and gave me an opportunity to advance my career to that of an area sales manager within five years. I gave up the job after the management within the company decided to move out of the Middle East.
For a period of 48 months, I was in the call center industry working for the Norwich Union of the United Kingdom. I was employed as an auto claims negotiator dealing, mainly with third-party insurance companies. I discontinued my career with them because I could see that there was a better opportunity waiting for me by working from home. This, in short, is a brief description of my work history.
