I am Harcierre Palisoc, an experienced ESL teacher, a graduate of BS Accountancy, and a passionate food entrepreneur. I started my teaching journey in 2015, conducting online English classes for students of different ages and backgrounds, primarily from Vietnam and other Asian countries. This experience has sharpened my communication skills, enhanced my patience, and developed my adaptability, especially in handling diverse learning styles and managing time effectively in a remote work environment.
In addition to my teaching background, I pursued further development in the field of accounting. I recently completed a bookkeeping refresher course and Odoo training to enhance my knowledge in financial management systems and digital accounting tools. This training has equipped me with updated skills in managing business finances, preparing reports, and using enterprise resource planning software for business efficiency.
Outside the virtual classroom, I am the co-founder of Potpot and Cierre’s Food Products, a growing microenterprise that specializes in homemade kimchi, bagoong guisado, and other Filipino delicacies. I personally make the kimchi from scratch, using locally sourced ingredients, and I actively participate in selling our products at the New Antipolo Public Market. I believe in supporting local farmers and promoting healthy, affordable, and flavorful food options for everyday families. My business is built on consistency, love, and a strong sense of purpose.
Marketing is also a skill I’ve learned through practice. I love creating content—whether it’s a simple vlog, a social media caption, or a product feature—for my Facebook page and personal timeline. Through these platforms, I tell stories, engage customers, and build genuine connections. I use a mix of professional, relatable, and sometimes humorous tones to reach a wider audience, especially those in the B and C market segments.
Balancing my roles as a teacher, business owner, and content creator has taught me the value of time management, perseverance, and continuous learning. I take pride in my ability to wear many hats while staying grounded in my values: faith, family, service, and creativity.
Whether I’m teaching a class, making kimchi, or sharing a story online, I do it all with heart—and I’m committed to growing not just for myself, but for the people and communities I serve.
