About

As a journalist, I’ve had the opportunity to thoroughly hone my research, interviewing, writing, and editing skills. I have traveled around America conducting interviews and providing extensive research for a wide range of stories, such as the closure of the General Motors plant in Lordstown, Ohio and the shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I have consistently filed four to five compelling articles a week covering local stories, such as the surprising election upset by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez against U.S. Representative Joe Crowley. Peers and bosses alike come to me for research, fact-checking, top edits, proofreading, and article recommendations. One of my editors recently called my reporting “sharp.”

During my internship at the United Nations, I helped manage the official UN social media sites in the process of creating content that included GIFs for international days, short clips for campaigns, and infographics. I was put in charge of posting Snappy TV clips, working together with members of the UN staff to edit and publish the live streaming of the 2017 General Assembly. Having taken notice of my strong work ethic and high-quality contributions, the manager at the UN’s Department of Public Information recommended me to the Together Campaign team. My experience managing both projects has helped me cultivate exceptional organizational skills, on top of my research and reporting skills.
