JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
I have been working as a professional editor since 2012. During
my almost 6 years of editorial work in magazine sector, I had
the opportunity to work in 3 different magazines with different
subjects.
I started working as a decoration editor at ALL Decor Magazine.
I was mainly responsible for prop styling, do it yourself craft
projects and writing articles about decoration trends. I have
a strong interest in interior design and a broad interest in
lifestyle topics, like travel, careers, healthy living and food and
entertaiment.
Secondly, I worked as an editor at Geo Turkey magazine, which
primarily contains articles about science, geography, history and
world culture. I was also doing photoshoots for my articles on
these topics, which helped me to improve myself as a nature
photographer too.
In my final occupation as the editor of Istanbul Life magazine, I
had the chance to develop my organizational skills as well as
to establish a new direction in my career as an interviewer. I
mainly organized cover photo shoots. Published the news about
restaurant and bar openings and wrote alternative articles about
urban city life.
Since I quit my job at Istanbul Life Magazine, I started working as
a watercolor illustrator&graphic designer.
ABOUT ME
I’m a detail-oriented illustrator/graphic designer with a fresh
point of view who is able to work in a fast-paced environment
to construct short-form pieces, long-form essays and different
kinds of stories.
My colleagues describe me as an energetic and multitasking
person and a good team member who has good managerial
skills as well as creative and innovative thinking capabilities.
