There are multiple accounts that have the same balance year over year (for example Contract in transit)
Reply-I
Both of the below accounts are showing in the trail balance because not paid yet in FY- 2020-22.
(2002) A/P Vehicle Consignment (16,900/-) FY-2020
It would seem unreasonable to keep a consignment vehicle for over a year if we can’t move it.
Reply-II
Only the user can move or pay off the payable amount. Below is a screenshot/link.

Please see 1st record on the payable screen.
(2025) A/P Vendor (1,396.34) FY-2022
Have they not paid any vendors in 2022?
Yes. Vendor payable means Unpaid Repair Order. And they haven’t paid to any vendor.

2. Cash in bank is showing as credit and appears to include some liabilities (Credit card accounts)
Reply- I
When the available bank balance becomes negative then the trial balance shows a balance on the Credit side.
Credit card is a payable, not an asset. This should not be classified as a bank account or shown that way on
the balance sheet.
Reply-II
Correct. We will sort these payable soon.
Please give us the closing balance of the bank account/Credit card account so we solve the negative/credit
balance issue.
Closing balance skips all the detail that needs to be recorded.
Reply-III
We were asking for initial balances before the data recording in DealersCloud or closing balances of last
financial year or a real time balance from where the system will take further. Since there were no opening
balances on the accounts, the main reason, the balances are out.

Accounts receivable is showing as credit so maybe there are items included that are typically liabilities and not
accounts receivable.
Reply-I
Need to reconcile the A/R Ledger (Balance sheet) and Customer Balance Summary. We are working on it.
Account receivable balance showing as Debit now.
4.
There are many expense accounts that are showing as credit and also as an expense (for example utilities is Account
9110 and also Account 2710, other income is showing in accounts 2734 and 9134)
Reply-I
(9110) Utility (Select Office Expense)
(2710) Utility (Select Office Credit-Income), for that reason, Utility is showing as an income in TB.
I don’t even understand his comment. If there are 2 accounts, they need 2 different names. If one is income it should be
labeled as such.
Reply-II
Please see office credits listing.

Set Type as “Credit” from the filter. We can show them with an additional (“(Income or Credit)”) along with the
head description to have more readability or understanding if this is so.?
5.
There is a loan account that is showing as an expense but should be a liability that is reduced each month
Reply-I
Due to the selection of office expense, the Loan is shown as an expense in the Trial balance.
If the account is classified as an expense that is wrong and should be a
Reply-II
For loan payables, our screen is as

Where as the office expense type “loan” is not payable but an expense category.

The trial balance seems to be running in account number order as opposed to account classification order
Our trial balance is according to the account classification. We try to show the account details.
This does not run in the expected order. The order should be…
Assets, Long Term Assets, Liabilities. Long term Liabilities and Equity
The order is same. We will add the account classification in a new column. There are however no long term
asset/liability added in the system.
