ABOUT ME
I graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Hawassa University School of Veterinary
Medicine (Ethiopia) and a Master of Science in Tropical Animal Health (MSTAH) (One Health Approach) from
the Institute of Tropical Medicine (ITM) Antwerp (Belgium). Currently, I work at Tigray Agricultural Research
Institute (TARI) as a researcher in Veterinary Epidemiology, Zoonoses, and Food Safety.
My research interests are Epidemiology, Disease modeling, Zoonoses, diagnostic approaches, Food safety,
One Health (livestock-Human-Environment interactions), Wildlife diseases, and related interdisciplinary
biomedical sciences.
