Greg Hanks

I am a passionate, driven author who has been writing professionally since 2012. Writing is my calling; it is my blood and my bones. 

I have published two novels with a third coming in March 2020. I received my bachelor’s degree in English (Creative Writing Emphasis) from Utah Valley University in 2016. My essay on emotional abuse was published in the school’s undergraduate academic journal. I was invited to speak at Utah’s Snow College during their National Novel Writing Month symposium, to read from my novel, and teach about writing.

I have a burning love for the art of writing, it fuels me to create. I am meticulous in my craft and always try to put a fresh spin on my work. I think deeply about theme, character, and style, and even deeper about word choice, metaphor, and meaning. My favorite author right now is Cormac McCarthy (No Country For Old Men), and my most recent work emulates a lot of his style and freshness.
