INTRODUCTION
This guide introduces the AAP (Activities, Asset and People) application built as an initiative
developed to elevate the lives of every resident, staff and individuals in NLNG Residential and
Industrial areas. This is to provide ease of access, build better relationships amongst residents in
an Estate and lets you communicate seamlessly with everyone in the estate conveniently without
stress.

Chapter 1: FEATURES
1.1. Workflow management
1.1.1. How to Create and manage workflows
STEPS:

Access the url (https://nlng.estateandhomes.ng//)
Sign in using your username and password.
Select General settings under the dropdown in the Settings menu.
Under General Settings, select Workflow Configuration.
Click on the Create workflow button.
6. Enter the Name of the workflow
7. Enter the step and select the roles for the particular step. Note that you can add steps
based on how you want the approval process done, hence the process must go through
the number of steps selected before it can be fully approved.
8. Save Changes.
9. You can manage the created workflow by selecting the created workflow, click on the
three (3) dots by the action column and select preferred action; this could be to update
usage, edit workflow and deactivate workflow.

1.2. iSafe Requests
1.2.1. How to Approve and Disapprove iSafe Request
STEPS:
1. Go to the Request Processing module on the side bar menu.
2. Select Incoming Request under the dropdown menu.
3. There is a display of the search filter, hence select Incident under the request type
category; under the approval status, select Pending; under the show Request, select
Pending my approval.
4. Click on Apply Filter.
5. There will be a display of pending iSafe requests.
6. Click on the request and apply action, either Approve or a Disapprove.
7. Admin can also create an iSafe request by selecting Add Request under the dropdown
menu of request processing module.
8. There is a display of the search filter to select the type of request, select incident.

1.3.1. How to Create admin users and assign permission
STEPS:

Select User Management under the dropdown in the Settings menu.
There are two (2) users; Admins and Other Users
Select Admins.
To create an admin user, click on Add user.
5. Fill in the details of the user with contact information, you can add the user image and
select Role(s) for the user, then submit.

1.3.2. How to Manage admin users
STEPS:
1. Select User Management under the dropdown in the Settings menu.
2. Click on Admins, there will be a display of all the admin users on the system.
3. Select the action dotted lines on the selected admin user, it will display a dropdown of
these actions: View/edit user, deactivate users or Reset password.
4. Select any of the action to be performed on the user’s account.

1.3.3. How to Create app users
STEPS:
1. Select User Management under the dropdown in the Settings menu.
2. There are two (2) users; Admins and Other Users
3. To create an app user, click on Add user.
4. Fill in the user information and submit.
5. The created user gets a notification on the email address used to register, a verification
code is also sent.
6. User is prompted to download the app, then enter the verification code sent in the mail.
7. You will be required to register with your email the first time you launch the app.
8. Complete the registration and you are fully registered.

STEPS:
1. Select User Management under the dropdown in the Settings menu.
2. Click on Other users, there will be a display of all other users on the system.
3. Select the action dotted lines on the selected admin user, it will display a dropdown of
these actions: View/edit user, Resend invite, Deactivate or Reset password.

1.4. Broadcast Messaging
1.4.1. How to Create broadcast
STEPS:
1. Go to the Broadcast Messaging module on the side bar menu.
2. Select Create under the dropdown menu.
3. Enter the subject of the broadcast, the type, the message to be broadcasted, the
attachments (picture) and the group to receive the broadcast dispatch.
4. You can preview the broadcast message.
5. Send for approval.

STEPS:
1. Go to the Broadcast Messaging module on the side bar menu.
2. Select History under the dropdown menu.
3. There is a display of the search filter; under the status, select Pending; under the show
Broadcasts, select Pending my approval.
4. There will be a display of all broadcasts pending approval.
5. Click on the view button on the selected broadcast message, there will be a display of
the broadcast preview.
6. You can now approve or disapprove the broadcast message.

1.5.1. How to Approve and Disapprove Ideas
STEPS:
1. Go to the Request Processing module on the side bar menu.
2. Select Incoming Request under the dropdown menu.
3. There is a display of the search filter, hence select Ideas under the request type
category; under the approval status, select Pending; under the show Request, select
Pending my approval.
4. Click on Apply Filter.
5. There will be a display of pending Ideas requests.
6. Click on the request and apply action, either Approve or Disapprove.

1.6. Reports and Analytics
1.6.1. How to view reports and analytics
STEPS:
1. Go to the Reports and Analytics module on the side menu bar.
2. Select the breakdown type of how you want to extract the report (that is, Daily, Monthly
and Yearly).
3. Select the date range and refresh.
4. To select the Incident Report, select incident report (this is seen below the graph)
5. Choose the Fiscal Year you want to filter by.
6. You can print the report by clicking the Print report button.

Chapter 3: MASTER DATA MANAGEMENT
This section describes how to create and master the master data on the system.
STEPS:
1. Go to the Settings module on the side bar menu.
2. Select Import Data under the dropdown menu.
3. Click on the Upload Data File; select from the dropdown list of data to be uploaded,
these include User, Master records and Districts.
4. Follow the instructions given, use the excel template in the system, download and
populate, then upload the data.
