•
•
•
•
•
•
•
Contains an RHP quality mark guaranteeing excellent quality
The coconut fibres are washed, steamed and buffered, guaranteeing an optimum growing
substrate
Contains nutrition for the 1st week of the growing cycle

How Atami Cocos Substrate 50L Works
Atami Cocos Substrate 50L has an open, airy structure which is great for promoting rapid and strong
root systems. It comes pre-washed and steamed so that it is free from any salts and pathogens. It
actually contains a light fertiliser, and is unique in this. This internal fertiliser contributes to the
plants’ accelerated growth in the first week. The product has also been buffered so that you have
much greater control over the pH.
This product works well with seeds and cuttings.
Cocos has the kind of ideal structure which is an excellent retainer of nutritious water, which can
then be readily absorbed by your plant’s root system.
The substrate will also remain quite light, causing the plants’ roots to get much more oxygen.
Because of this your plants will grow healthy and strong root systems and continue to grow
vigorously.
This product has RHP certification. This is the Dutch horticultural quality mark and it is your
guarantee and assurance that Atami substrates always contain nothing but top quality ingredients
and that they carry a very low risk of pests and disease.
How Do I Use Atami Cocos Substrate?
Atami Cocos Substrate is a top quality compost product made largely of coco (coconut) fibre; it’s
100 percent natural and you’re able to use it immediately because it’s been washed, steamed and
buffered.
If you use this by means of manual water dispensing, do this daily and in combination with enriched
water. When setting up an automatic process, set this up to happen anywhere between 1 and 8
times every day, again in combination with enriched water.
The dosage is to work to a proportion of between 1 and 5 litres of nutrient solution per square
metre of substrate per day for your adult plants. It’s recommended by the manufacturers that you
monitor your plants during their growth process to check that they’re healthy, and to adjust the
dosage accordingly.

How Does The BudBox Pro Titan 2-HL Grow Tent Work?
The BudBox Pro Titan 2-HL Grow Tent has a 14 by 10 inch window which has a transparent green
filter. Green is used here because it is that part of the colour spectrum which is known to be
completely plant insensitive, so it allows you to see what’s going on inside the grow tent without
needing to open the door and disturbing the carefully controlled environment there - your plants
will be completely safe and undeterred by this.
This range is long known for their hard-wearing and quality fabric outers. But the new range
is supplied with an outer which is even better than the ones before it! It’s also very much
lighter, making the tent easier to build as well as dismantle when that time comes. And it is
just as robust and durable as previous versions always were.
The tent has a strong framework, and this is made better by having metal corners and
25mm click-lock poles. So it is as strong and sturdy as any comparative grow tent which is
available on the market, and it’s easily strong enough to support the weight of any
equipment that you may want to use. All the bars and poles are powder coated, and this
considerably reduces the chance of corrosion occurring.
There’s a handy access point if you wanted to use any of the automated watering systems which
are available (IWS, Autopots, etc.) which means you can install your tank or reservoir outside of the
tent and then run the pipes along the tent floor and through one of the handily located irrigation
socks on the lower edge of the outer.
How Do I Use The BudBox Pro Titan 2 Grow Tent?
Setting up a BudBox Pro Titan 2-HL Grow Tent is very quick and easy. All you need to do is follow
the instructions which are fully supplied. Unzip and unfold the fabric outer, then attach the bottom
of the outer fabric to the base of the tent’s frame. Then just pull the rest of the outer up and over
the top of the frame, and it’s all done in less than five minutes with no special tools needed.
Which Size Fan and Filter Do I Need For My Grow Tent?
There’s a quick and easy way to calculate the size and power rating of the extraction fan that you
need for your size of grow tent. Firstly you find out the volume in cubic metres of the growing space
with Width x Length x Height = Volume. With the resulting figure, multiply the Volume x 60 = Air
Movement Per Hour (to refresh the air in your grow tent).
If you’re to be using a filter (which you should be), the amount of air that you want to move is
calculated by multiplying the Air Movement Per Hour x 1.2. That’s the amount of air which your fan
will have to move, so that’s the number that you should match with the fan you should buy for your
grow tent.
This number should be prominently seen next to all the extractor fans available, because this will
signify whether or not that fan is compatible with the size and capacity of your grow tent or
growing area. It’s up to the manufacturer to ensure that this figure is prominently displayed, as this
is the number they need to sell their products!
Please make sure you keep in mind it's always much better to over spec the fan that you decide to
buy and subsequently lower the fan's output with a fan controller, since this provides you with the
flexibility to step up its output afterwards to sustain optimal conditions for your plants.

Systemair Revolution Vector 315 EC Description
The Systemair Revolution Vector 315 EC is a superbly silent 12.5 inch (315mm) durable and reliable
fan which is both powerful and efficient and which is ideal for use in hydroponic grow rooms and
grow tents. It is one of the quietest extractor fans to be found in any indoor cultivation
environment.
Benefiting from state of the art EC technology, this fan is extremely efficient, using only half the
power when at half speed, for example, and can be calibrated very precisely in 1 percent
increments. It has an aerodynamically optimised impeller which provides very large airflows and
much better performance than the vast majority of duct fans.
The Revolution Vector 315 EC offers several benefits and attributes, and these include:
•
•
•
•
•
•
•
•
•
•
State of the art frictionless digital EC motor
Capable of huge pressure generation
May be regulated in 1 percent increments to fine tune performance
Using 50 percent of the energy of other comparable fans, it will save you lots of money over the
years
Provides you with many years of reliable and uninterrupted service
Streams airflow much more efficiently and in a straight line
Loses very little pressure when working with accessories such as carbon filters, unlike
competing brands
Comes with a 2 year warranty for peace of mind
Corrosion-proof, compact, elegant and lightweight
Lowers friction against ducting sidewalls, reducing noise further
With its sealed stainless steel housing which prevents leaks, this is the market leader
in silent duct fans, running at a considerably lower decibel level than competitor
products in a test comparison environment.
How Does a Revolution Vector 315 EC Work?
Vector fan products have got frictionless motors that deliver immense performance far greater
than any of their competition. They have about half the electrical power requirements of a regular
duct fan. They are capable of producing great pressure levels which can transfer a great deal of air,
and there is no downside related to drag factor when carbon filters are used either.
The Revolution Vector 315 EC can be made absolutely quiet by fitting Phonic Trap Ducting to the
fan. It should be mentioned that these Vector fans should be used together with a Global Air
Supplies fan speed controller, developed especially for use with EC motors.
The overall result is stunning. These fans can be controlled with wonderful precision, in increments
of 1 percent! And all this without humming and buzzing sounds! Whenever you turn a Vector fan all
the way down to 1 percent you'll get 1 percent of the fan's maximum output and it will accordingly
use 1 percent of its power capability. No other fan available is capable of such power with such
accuracy and reliability.
The Revolution Vector 315 EC has been made completely airtight and offers a fully enclosed
composite housing. There are no tiny gaps of the kind that you may get in conventional fans,
resulting in unwelcome odours leaving your grow room. With this product you don’t need to be
concerned about that because it just will not happen!
Note: All Revolution Vector fans must be connected to a G.A.S. fan controller [LINK] in order to
work as they were designed.
How To Choose Which Model of Fan
Please Note: The model of fan in the Systemair range you get should be based on the power and
size of the fan and its ability to extract air from your growing area. That is usually referred to as the
CFM rating (cubic feet per minute) but is sometimes referred to as the Rated Air Flow, which is
indicated in cubic metres per hour. You may find it useful to take a look at the article on hydroponic
grow tent or grow room ventilation [LINK] for further information.
In total you will need:
• An extractor fan to remove the air out of your grow tent or growing area
• Several air vents [LINK] to suck fresh air in, or additionally a second, smaller extractor fan to draw
air in
• A 5 metre power cable for each fan [LINK]
• A carbon filter (for the extractor only) [LINK]
• A suitable length of Ducting [LINK]
• 3 x duct clips [LINK]
• 2 x Rope Ratchets (highly recommended) [LINK] to support the fan(s)
How To Use a Systemair Revolution Vector 315 EC
Connect the mains lead to your Revolution Vector 315 EC fan.
Find out the direction the air is flowing.
Air needs to be sucked out of your grow tent or growing area, and/or into your grow tent or
growing area for intake. You may see an arrow on the casing of the fan that shows the way the air
travels.
To connect it all together, secure a suitable length of ducting [LINK] to the exhaust side of your fan
by means of a duct clip [LINK], then feed the length of ducting through the duct port in your tent
[LINK], or to the area you wish to vent into.
Affix the other end of the fan to the filter using a clamp or a small piece of ducting and a clip.
You should follow the manufacturer's installation instructions in each case.

Global Air Supplies RadAir 100 Description
The Global Air Supplies RadAir 100 is a cost-effective entry-level fan which is ideal for use in
hydroponic grow rooms and grow tents. There are several different sizes for different sized growing
areas. It delivers large air volumes at high pressure. These are also ideal for beginners. RadAir mixed
flow fans offer high power with low noise and do not compromise on air delivery.
Global Air Supplies RadAir 100 fans offer a number of useful attributes, including:
•
•
•
•
•
Fantastic value for money
Strong sealed body casing with mounting brackets
This series has six sizes to match most size of growing area
Plug and play functionality
IEC connector makes installation relatively easy
How Global Air Supplies RadAir 100 Fans Work
Global Air Supplies RadAir duct fans are top quality intake/outlet fans for extracting the old air from
your growing area and supplying it with fresh air. Its housing is lightweight but robust and hash
external ports for easy connection to filters, ducting, airsocks and other accessories. The fan may be
directly powered from the mains or by means of a fan speed controller (which is not included).
These are very well-made and fairly quiet when in use. A bracket is supplied for mounting.
How to use Global Air Supplies RadAir 100 Duct Fans
A Global Air Supplies RadAir 100 can be used to draw air out of your growing area through a carbon
filter or just ducting. It can be mounted in any location using the bracket supplied, and should be
mounted so that the airflow direction matches the direction of the arrow mark on the fan's casing.
On the output side of the fan you should fit your ducting over the outlet sleeve, securing it in place
with a Duct Clip (which is not included).
Repeat for the inlet side. If you want to fit a carbon filter it's important that this is rated at a similar
airflow as the fan. An electrical feed to the fan is needed which can be directly from your mains
supply or by means of a fan speed controller.
Do bear in mind that fitting a carbon filter will reduce airflow that the fan can achieve by about a
quarter just by itself. When turning a corner within the ducting you should try to create a gentle
bend rather than a sharp one as that would reduce airflow by the minimum and also it helps to
reduce the wind-noise.
Refer to the manufacturer's installation instructions when assembling your ventilation system.

CarboAir 100 8inch 200mm x 660mm Carbon Filter Description
The CarboAir 100 8inch 200mm x 660mm Carbon Filter is perfect for experienced hydroponics
growers; these filters are great for larger sized hydroponic grow rooms and grow tents. They are
superior quality goods and of course they're manufactured to SystemAir's high standards, as
expected from the producers of the widely used and reputable RVK and Revolution fans.
The manufacturer makes use of a carbon which is considerably more coarse-grained than average,
and incredibly high quality, and this allows the best contact duration which will take away
unwelcome odours while also maintaining excellent airflow from your duct fan.
The 100mm CarboAir Filters could possibly be the ultimate level of carbon filter. Manufactured to
treat gigantic quantities of air and odour, they double-filter the air before it leaves the grow room.
This is the ultimate in extraction and air filtration if you want to have maximum reassurance that
basically no odours might escape.
Airflow rates deserve your critical deliberation because they're an essential part of your growing
area arrangement. In cases where an excessive amount of 'drag' is brought about because of the
filter then your ventilation setup isn't going to operate as it's meant to and you'll end up moving far
less air through your grow space than would be best.
Because of this the area temperature will likely rise and carbon dioxide levels will not be
replenished effectively, and when this happens, it is going to slow the process of photosynthesis
and limit your crop's growth. Therefore, you will want to care for your healthy climate to enable
your plants to succeed to a bountiful harvest. This is why you want a reputable carbon filter that is
just the right match for your duct fan.
The CarboAir 100 8inch 200mm x 660mm Carbon Filter incorporates a number of interesting
features, and these include the following:
•
•
•
•
•
Sustains outstanding efficiency output at the rated airflows for not less than a year and a
half
Kills growing room odours stone dead without suppressing your fans' potency
Hand built to a very high standard and recommended by Systemair
Machine cleanable pre-filter sleeve provided and pre-fitted
Couples nicely with Revolution fans
CarboAir 100s are strictly for the dedicated large-scale advanced cultivators; these filters are
designed to deal with exceptionally high volumes of air and incredibly high odour concentrations,
making them the perfect complement to the most potent duct fans on the market.
Hydroponics growers who operate on a large scale or wish to double-filter their air before it leaves
the room can benefit the most from these really solid filters. You will want large pressure levels
within your fan to work with a CarboAir 100, but what you are using is a filter which can manage
among the most rigorous conditions conceivable without any difficulty.
Why Do I Need a Carbon Filter?
The extractor fan in your growing area eliminates hot, stale air and surplus humidity from your grow
area, and instead sucks new air in, maintaining the local environment and replacing carbon dioxide.
In case you are producing crops which have strong, unwanted smells, you are likely to really need to
clean this air initially prior to venting it to an outside point.
The carbon filter connects to your extractor fan, air gets sucked through an outer tier of mesh and
then through an enclosed bed of carbon before passing out of the removal setup. The air finally will
leave fresh and totally free of any smells.
How Do I Use the CarboAir 100 8inch 200mm x 660mm Carbon Filter?
Carbon filters ought to be properly paired with the duct fan that they are to be used with, in
relation to the size of the venting and also the airflow level. In the event that the airflow rating of
your duct fan is too much for the carbon filter the air will probably move through too fast to be
cleansed properly.
It's frequently the case that more than one unit of air flow measurement is supplied, and this could
produce misunderstandings and even ordering the wrong item, which explains why at Caliponics we
provide the air flow rates in both cubic metres per hour and cubic feet per minute (CFM).
Before use, you should remove the plastic wrap from the outside of the drum which has been prefitted on the filter.
Your CarboAir 100 8inch 200mm x 660mm Carbon Filter will need to be installed within or as close
to your grow area or grow tent and plugged into your extractor duct fan by way of ducting and duct
clips, or with a fast clamp which connects the filter and the fan with each other. Irrespective of the
way they’re fitted with each other, it’s crucial that all joints are air-tight for the fan and carbon filter
system to work efficiently.
The outside of the filter shouldn't be covered or impeded as this can decrease the filter's efficiency.
Small sized filters and duct fans are normally integrated into grow tents and growing rooms by
hanging them from hanging bars or ceilings. They take up much less space this way, and they clear
away the hottest air which would be at the top of the area.
More sizeable carbon filters might be too large and burdensome for suspending, and these can be
put on to the floor. As soon as both the filter and fan are installed in the grow area, ducting may be
run from the outlet of the extractor fan to away from the grow area.
CarboAir filters are designed to be fitted to the intake side of your extractor fan and they must not
be fitted to the outlet side. Basically, air has to be drawn through them and never blown out
through them. If air is blown through them it's going to make them inadequate and could even
inflict damage on them internally. The dust filter round the exterior should always be taken off and
cleansed whenever it gets dirty to be able to sustain a healthy air flow.
Be aware that moisture damages the efficiency of carbon filters. High humidity is their enemy, and
renders them ineffectual at getting rid of nasty smells, decreasing the life-span expectation of the
carbon filter by a noticeable measure. As a result you should always make sure you keep humidity
at a sensible range (somewhere around 40% to 60% or ideally lower) and your filter will experience
the benefits of that and your crop will be healthier.

How the Tornado Acoustic MDF Box Fan 8 Inch/200mm 1500m3/hr Fan Works
Tornado Acoustic Duct Fans are designed to transfer air to-and-from your grow area, getting rid of
heat and moisture, while replacing CO2 while it becomes reduced. Duct fans are usually used along
with carbon filters to get rid of undesirable odours. Fresh air is drawn through layers of charcoal
and cleansed to eliminate odours before it gets to its escape point, maintaining air which will be
clear of smells. Duct fans are such an important part of any effective grow that it is well worth
buying top quality equipment to get the best possible results. Tornado fans are reliable and
efficient, making use of a prestige Torin Sifan motor, which is designed and manufactured in
Swindon. They move a lot of air, and, as acoustic fans, they're exceptionally quiet. They also look
the business!
Using The Tornado Acoustic MDF Box Fan 8 Inch/200mm 1500m3/hr Fan
The Tornado Acoustic MDF Box Fan 8 Inch/200mm 1500m3/hr Fan needs to be mounted at the top
of your grow tent or grow room, in order to get rid of hot air when it moves upwards. You should
preferably use either acoustic ducting or Phonic Trap. These kinds of ducting are lined with
insulation that will reduce the level of noise created by air as it moves over bends and ridges,
producing friction.
Ducting ought to be connected to the vents on the Tornado fan with duct clips (supplied separately)
to ensure that the connection is secure. If the ducting comes loose , unwanted odours can get out,
and humidity and heat levels could rise. Similarly, it's recommended to connect the inlet vent of
your fan to the carbon filter using a fast clamp .
It is better if these duct fans are used in conjunction with coil-type fan speed controllers rather than
solely digital versions which may well generate acoustic resonance, resulting in buzzing and
humming noises. SMSCom Hybrid fan controllers deliver the quietness of coil-type controllers with
intelligent room control, and are available separately.
Don't under any circumstances insert your fingers inside a fan, particularly an in-line type of fan.
Even a small fan will have enough force to lead to serious injury and damaged fingers. Just don't do
this, no matter how tempted you may be. Keep ducting runs as short as possible as each metre of
ducting decreases the flow-rate which the fan is capable of doing.
The more ducting attached, the lower the air-flow. Be aware that a carbon filter will reduce the airflow your fan can attain by about 25 percent just on its own. Whenever rounding a corner with
ducting make an effort to create a swept bend instead of a sharp bend as that will decrease air-flow
by the least extent and help to keep wind-noise down.
How to Choose Which Model of Fan
Please note that the model you should choose has to be dependent on the power and size of the
fan to extract air from your growing area. This is generally given as the Cubic Feet per Minute
rating (CFM) although it's sometimes called the Rated Air Flow, which is indicated in cubic metres
per hour. You might find it handy to look at the article on How to Best Filter Your Hydroponic Grow
Room [LINK] for further details.
In total you will need:
• One extractor fan to draw the air out of your grow tent or growing area
• Air vents [LINK] to draw fresh air in, or a second, smaller extractor fan to draw air in
• A separate 5 metre power lead for each extractor fan [LINK]
• A carbon filter (for your extractor fan only) [LINK]
• An appropriate length of ducting [LINK]
• 3 x duct clips [LINK]
• 2 x Rope Ratchets (advisable) [LINK]
How To Use a Tornado Acoustic MDF Box Fan 8 Inch/200mm 1500m3/hr
Connect a mains power cable to your Acoustic MDF Box Fan 8 Inch/200mm 1500m3/hr fan.
Identify the direction the air is flowing.
Air needs to be sucked out of your grow tent or growing area, or into your grow tent or growing
area for intake. There may be an arrow on the casing of the fan which indicates which way the air
travels.
To connect all the parts together, attach an appropriate length of ducting [LINK] to the exhaust side
of the fan by means of a duct clip [LINK], then feed the length of ducting through the duct port on
your tent [LINK], or to the area you wish to vent into.
Connect the other end of the fan to the filter using a fast clamp.
Please refer to the installation instructions when connecting your Acoustic MDF Box Fan 8
Inch/200mm 1500m3/hr fan.

How the Isomax 12 Inch 315mm 2380m3/hr Acoustic Silencer Fan Works
The Isomax (also known as Air Force 2) 12 Inch 315mm 2380m3/hr Acoustic Silencer Fan was
developed to cut down on noise output. The outside housing operates as a silencer and
incorporates a thick layer of insulating foam inside, providing exceptional noise protection. These
fans feature Swiss-manufactured, energy-efficient motors which dramatically decrease power
consumption, so reducing your electricity bills and making them truly easy on the pocket.
This range of fans is extremely dependable. When installed, operational failures are uncommon,
making them virtually maintenance free.
How to Use a Isomax 12 Inch 315mm 2380m3/hr Acoustic Silencer Fan
An Isomax 12 Inch 315mm 2380m3/hr Acoustic Silencer Fan is designed to push fresh air into your
growing area. If you wish to extract smells you will have to use your fan together with a suitably
matched carbon filter. It's recommended for you to ensure your filter can accommodate the
measure of air flow these fans will draw through them or else their performance may well be
reduced, leading potentially to unwanted odours leaking out and a decrease of efficiency.
An Isomax fan ought to be installed just after the carbon filter. Old air is drawn through the carbon
filter and out from the grow tent by means of the fan, then ducted away. The direction of your duct
fan ought to properly correspond to the movement of the airflow in the extraction setup prior to
connecting the ducting. There are suspending devices to make certain that the fan is installed
without difficulty.
Create the shortest and straightest course to an exterior area as you can in your extraction setup.
Ducting systems that are too long or have got numerous corners will tend to decrease the efficiency
of your extraction process and create unwanted noise. A little preparing beforehand should go a
long way in making sure of a much better system, keeping the air that your plants depend upon to
remain healthy as fresh as you can.
The fan is supplied along with a pre-attached power lead of at least one metre, but nevertheless
still will need a 3-pin mains plug for this purpose. The comparatively short length of the cable could
be an issue if your fan is being set in an area without any power socket close-by. Quite a few people
will find it best to have a skilled person available to fit this by using an IEC connector that will allow
the device to start with any cable with an IEC connection.
The high-torque electric motors on these fans are incredibly powerful, so you should never place
your fingers anywhere close to the fan blades if they're in operation. Doing this will likely lead to
severe injury.

It sometimes helps using questions in H2 and H3 headers. These can be used as part of “rich snippets” as
Google may display these on its results pages (though this cannot be guaranteed by any means). Rich
snippets can be considered a part of markup schema (now a huge subject in itself).
The KEYWORD PHRASE is the main search term for any specific page, and should be included somewhere
within the first paragraph of the body text, preferably the first sentence. It should also appear throughout
the body text at about 1% to 2% density. So for a page with 2,000 words, it should occur about 30 times. It
should also be in the final paragraph of the body text.
The KEYWORD PHRASE should also be in the title tag, the description tag, in the keywords tag section and
included in the ALT text of any images used within the content.
The BUY KEYWORD PHRASE variant should also be in the keyword tags section and it should appear at least
once in the body text and in the H2 or H3 header to the paragraph which features it in the body text.
(The BUY KEYWORD PHRASE will be used by a relatively small number of people when they search for
something. But its conversion rate will be phenomenally high, which is why this variant should be catered
for whenever possible.)
