My exposure to different types of organizations across the board, that is from governmental, parastatals, private, None-Governmental (NGO) in offices which demand integrity and diligence would be a natural prerequisite for any position requiring trust and reliance. I believe it is also an advantage in whatever one would venture as it breeds confidence, reliability and trustworthiness.
May I submit that; apart from the vast experience I have had in finance, and in my latest appointment of over 10 years with UNDP-Kenya as a finance assistant I have had stints as Officer a.i. in both of our Human Resource (HR) unit and General Service Unit which harbours Procurement and Protocol sections. I have been adequately exposed to all aspects of not only finance and budget matters but its related link in project and programme management, these I am sure gives me an all-round experience which would be an asset to this post.
Coupled with my Business administration (BA Admin) at the Kenya Methodist University (KEMU), Nairobi Campus. I have sundry training which includes ICDL (computers) and supervisory skills. I have been exposed to different nature of people both national and international dealing with them on almost daily basis thus I am in the right disposition to relate at almost any level.
I have served as UNDP as a member of Promotion and Appointment Panel; served as a member of the Local Salary Survey Committee (LSSC), as an Assistant Treasurer and a Secretary of the UNDP Joint Staff Association Assistant. Together with my day to day this has exposed me to interact with both staff and UNDP clients at all levels.
