I’ve written and managed successful grants for nonprofits working in community development, feminist advocacy, health access, and education, with clients based in both Malawi and the United States. I also lead proposal teams and mentor early-career writers, ensuring every submission is persuasive, data-informed, and aligned with funder priorities.

The proposals I write are honest and strongly evidence-based, prioritizing lived experiences and research as foundations for developing impactful programs. I also have experience in developing organizational strategy, and donor communications to help nonprofits grow their impact and sustainability.

With a background in Development Studies, grassroots advocacy, intercultural dialogue, community building and ongoing graduate training in Social Justice and Community Action at the University of Edinburgh, I bring a nuanced understanding of rights-based approaches to development, and community-driven change.

🤖 AI Policy:

Due to varying client preferences, I have learned to integrate AI tools responsibly into my workflow. I can confidently use AI for background research (with support from trusted citations and research tools like Citethemright and Zotero), structuring, data presentation and quality control.

However, maintaining originality and integrity in all my writing is my top priority. If a client has a zero-AI tolerance policy, I am more than willing to comply.
