I'm a theology grad whose love for programming became a career. I like to write code. I like to learn code. I like solving problems with code. I'm still very active in my church where, among othert things, I head up a faith-based addiction recovery program, but coding is how I pay the bills and buy stuff to eat. (Getting to live indoors is an added benefit.) The majority of my work experience has centered around Java backend developing along with using MySql and MS-SQL Server. But I am always adding to my skill set as you can see from my portfolio site.
