I have a 5 year customer support experience, 1 year as a customer service representative for a telecommunications company and 4 year precertification representative for a health insurance company based in the US. I served as a Subject Matter Expert supporting precertification representatives for prior authorization of a request from doctor or providers to the health insurance company.
I provide assistance to providers and health practitioners in completing their requests for prior authorization by creating a case, approve certain requests and pend cases to the nurses for clinical review. I provide assistance if the providers would like to check the status of their pending authorizations.
As an SME, I assist associates in all questions asked during the shift, responds to email from the clinical team, coach associates for quality errors and improvements, conduct team huddles for process updates and refreshers, facilitate one on one coaching for stat updates of the associates and career developments.
