Dear Hiring Manager,
My name is Giorgia Ughetto, I am 19 years old, and I am currently a student at King’s College London for the faculty of B.Sc. Neuroscience.
I am an Italian-English bilingual with extensive experience in written as well as oral interpreting and translating in a vast heterogeneity of contexts and situations.
In particular, I worked for multitudinous electromedical equipment companies as well as Biologic-Medicine companies (e.g. Organicell - I can provide the reference letter written for me by the CEO and CSO).
I am also a musician, as I attended the conservatory of Turin for 7 years in the faculty of classical percussionist.
My career as a musician is particularly vast, so I will just mention some highlights.
I worked at the Royal Theatre of Turin, I won manifold competitions (e.g., the World Music Contest in Kerkrade in 2017) and I played in multifarious festivals and different international orchestras throughout Europe.
Furthermore, I attended the School of entrepreneurship and innovation (Turin) and I worked as a neuroscience-researcher specialized in adult neurogenesis and stem cells at the Neuroscience Institute Cavalieri Ottolenghi.
As for my education, although I do not have a bachelor’s degree yet, I graduated from S.I.E.S. Altiero Spinelli (applied sciences international high school) with full marks (both high school marks and IGCSEs) and attended the faculty of Physics at the University of Turin before transferring to London.
As for my soft skills, I do not reckon I am entitled to describe my own qualities.
If you wish, I can provide some reference letters where others can provide this information about me.
In any case, I hope I will have the chance to demonstrate my worthiness through work, as I wish to be, and not appear so.
I will just say that I am an insatiable learner and that the value I appraise the most is respect.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely yours,
Giorgia Ughetto
