I’m a passionate and detail-oriented software developer with a strong focus on building scalable, high-performance applications that solve real-world problems. My core skills span backend development (Django, Spring Boot), mobile app development (Flutter), frontend development (Next.js), and cloud-based system integration.

I hold a First-Class Honours degree in Computer Science from the National University of Science and Technology, Zimbabwe, where I received the Book Prize for Best Student in Class and earned a Distinction for my blockchain-based crime reporting system — a project designed to promote transparency and accountability.

I currently work as a Junior Software Developer at Africa Clinical Research Network, where I’ve built a Django-based CRM system supporting 2500+ users, automated purchase requisition workflows to reduce turnaround time from 3 days to 24 hours, and designed Power Platform automations that improved HR processes by 40%. My experience also includes developing and deploying Azure-based solutions that improved scalability and reduced infrastructure costs by 25%.

Previously, I worked as a Software Developer Graduate Trainee at Kenac Computer Systems, where I built APIs with Django REST Framework and Java Spring Boot, developed mobile applications with Flutter, and deployed cloud-ready systems on AWS. During this period, I contributed to projects including a property management platform, ESG assessment system, service booking app, and water delivery solution.

I’ve also worked remotely with the Environmental Management Agency (EMA), where I developed a cross-platform mobile app for citizens to report environmental hazards, view wetlands, and make online payments.

I’m certified as a PCAP Python Programmer, AWS Cloud Practitioner, SCRUM Fundamentals Professional, and hold an IoT certification from iHUBiquitous. My toolkit also includes Docker, Power Apps, Power Automate, Firebase, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and various cloud platforms.
