Full-Stack Engineer | Optimus Bank, Lagos Nigeria | March 2023 - Present
● Led the development of Account Opening Lite, a web platform with 2 step verification that enables staff to be
able to create accounts on behalf of customers using information supplied by customers, this platform has been
used to open accounts for thousands of customers at the bank, technologies used include react and nodejs
● Developed a comprehensive/full-fledged web intranet application (React + Laravel + Strapi-CMS) that
significantly improved employee productivity and streamlined information sharing within the bank.
● Improved customer onboarding service by consistently working on new features and bug fixes leading to a
significant increase of 300% successful customer onboarded weekly.
● Implemented the web UI interface for the bank’s Lagos State Government Payment Collections (LASG) portal,
using vite react and tailwindcss, integrating it with the c# API for seamless bill payments, this is being used at all
branches of the bank and has processed bills worth millions on behalf of customers.
● Developed airtime purchase feature on the mobile app of the bank (Optiverse) which has processed millions
worth of airtime, the technology used is React-Native.
● Made design changes on the mobile app's customer account creation and onboarding screen, which led to an
increase in customer onboarding success rate by 20%.
● Developed the web portal for the Lagos State Government Payment Collections (LASG), and integrated the
frontend with the API’ allowing for seamless bill payments on the platform, this is being used at all branches of
the bank and has processed bills worth millions on behalf of customers.
