I’m Gideon Oni-Becsen, a fullstack developer with over six years of experience building scalable web, mobile, and game applications.. My expertise spans frontend (React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Next.js), backend (Node.js, Express.js, Nest.js, Kotlin, PostgreSQL, MySQL), mobile (React Native, Expo), and game development (Godot, GDScript), with a knack for creating user-friendly UI/UX using Figma and Adobe tools.

At Aisely, I led a team of five to develop Harpiee, a social media app like TikTok gaining virality, using React native, Nest.js, and AWS to build modern social features and high quality video optimization and streaming, optimizing performance by 40%. I also built Aisely, a SaaS document automation app, with Kotlin, earning top user ratings. For DMORAU, a top-10 dating app, I led the development: I reduced backend latency by 20% using Express.js and AWS, boosting user retention. Recently, I developed Color Heist, a hypercasual mobile game, and Messibites, a space-themed web3 game with blockchain currency (Shuwa Coins) using Godot.

I’m passionate about mentoring, having guided 50+ students at Growcampus to master JavaScript and React, generating 2M+ FCFA in revenue, and ranked top-10 in Wema Hackaholics Hackathon (2023), showcasing my leadership skills. My cloud skills include Docker, Git, AWS (S3, EC2, RDS) and Firebase, and I’ve integrated payment systems like Stripe and PayPal.

Language learning is a strength—I mastered French in three months (B2) and studied Spanish (A1). I’m currently learning Japanese (N5), aiming for fluency in three months, which fuels my interest in global tech solutions. I excel in teamwork, adaptability, and delivering high-quality code under tight deadlines.
