Gian Spina

CV Gian Spina-Gian Spina, has lived in San Diego,Vancouver, Berlin, Frankfurt, Bordeaux, Cairo, Amman, Athens and Beirut. He is originally from São Paulo. He nished his masters degree at the École des Beaux Arts de Bordeaux with professor Fabian Vallos, having also studied previously at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Offenbach with professor Julianne Rebentisch and Burghart Schmidt where he started to seize what would be latter his thesis’s theme (L’incompréhension), he also studied photography in São Paulo and lm in Vancouver. He has worked for over one year as a guide and periodically as assistant curator at the CAPC (Bordeaux). He has taught in educational projects/universities as International Art Academy Palestine, Escola da Cidade (São Paulo) , the Ionion Center for Arts and Culture (Greece) as well as CILAS (Cairo). In Alexandria he founded a School of liberal arts with other researchers. He has written articles for Mada Masr, Folha de São Paulo, Arts Everywhere, World Policy Institute, and several other independent publications.
