After that, I worked on german their app for testing. Basically, my job is to add/remove components/features on a Front-End, I use vanilla JavaScript and jQuery. Two months ago started another big project. It's still in the early stage and for NDA reasons I can't disclose details on that. I was limited with my workpermit (as a student you can work only half of the work time) so I decided, in cooperation with my friend that we'll try to code more, find our own projects and we did. We built finishing projects for students in final years (we were still the second year). We had basically three versions of the same project that we just polished for everyone. I did React.js and vanilla js on a front-end, he built back-ends (well one) with Java (Spring). I also enrolled myself in BovAcademy which is an elite online programming academy. If you can afford it (starting from 250 e/monthly up to 1000 e) it's an awesome experience. Here we needed to code in teams 8 hours a day 5 days a week, in order to finish the curriculum in time (if you don't they reset you back). I stayed here for about 8 months before leaving. They needed someone proficient in JavaScript to work on their internal app, my friend worked there and recommended me. Here I meet React.js for the first time and unit testing. We used Jasmine. After this job, I was proficient with React.js and unit-testing. I started working here through my friend, it was my first real company job. They needed someone to build a few static websites only using Bootstrap and jQuery, I felt confident, applied and got the job. I stayed there for about six months until the start of my classes at the uni. Through work, I mastered HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and scratched the surface of JavaScript. This was the time I realized I wanna be a programmer, so latter I applied for business informatics studies. In this time i also mastered German language and met people from different cultures which was invaluable experience.
