Although I do not have direct experience in this field (Virtual Assistant), I bring with me five years of professional experience as a seafarer—an intensive, detail-oriented career that has equipped me with strong organizational skills, a solid work ethic, and the ability to thrive under pressure. I am now eager to apply these transferable skills in a virtual environment and grow in a new career path.
As a seafarer, I was responsible for maintaining daily logs, managing inventory, coordinating with international teams, and ensuring timely and accurate communication—all tasks that require the discipline and adaptability necessary for a successful virtual assistant. Working long periods away from shore has also trained me to be independent, reliable, and resourceful in solving problems, even with minimal supervision.
I have recently been training in various digital tools and platforms commonly used in virtual assistance, including calendar management, email handling, basic data entry, and communication platforms such as Zoom, Slack, and Google Workspace. I am a fast learner, tech-savvy, and committed to delivering high-quality support to clients and teams alike.
